Xochitl A. Ambriz was born in El Paso Texas. She graduated from a local high school and the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). While attending UTEP she clerked for the 8th Court of Appeals in El Paso, Texas and interned at Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center. Upon graduation from UTEP, Mrs. Ambriz attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston Texas where she obtained a law degree, Juris Doctorate (JD). She became licensed to practice law in 2008 and immediately returned to El Paso where she has chosen to practice law and raise her family. She is currently the President of the El Paso Family Law Bar Association.
